Magic: The Gathering card scanner
Photograph a Magic card and ScanComps reads its set code and collector number, finds the exact printing and shows today's market price.
What it reads
The card name, set code (like DMU) and collector number, so reprints, promos and showcase versions stay apart. Normal and foil are separate printings with their own prices.
The prices
The TCGplayer market price for Near Mint with a 30-day trend, current listings for the other conditions, and booster displays and bundles too.
Then
Add it to your collection and follow its value every night, print a QR price label for your table, or put it in a deal you're buying.
Questions
Where do the prices come from?
TCGplayer market data through TCG API. Near Mint is the market price, from recent sales, with a 30-day trend. Other conditions show current Magic listings, the median with shipping or the lowest, and say so.
Does it price graded Magic cards?
Not yet. There are no graded sales in this data, so a slab shows no price rather than a guess.
Which languages does it read?
English Magic cards for now. Japanese is available for Pokémon.
